“The Mail Order Bride”
Tuesday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m.
What happens when love and marriage are pursued like designer goods? When Argan, an elderly Southern California widower, decides to get a new wife, he does so by ordering a young Asian bride, much to the dismay of his sister, daughters and personal training staff. Two parts Moliere, one part Aristophanes, and a dash of Wycherley’s “The Country Wife,” this comedy of manners offers up plot twists worthy of “Desperate Housewives.”
$11 general admission; $8 students, seniors and active military. Tickets will be available two weeks prior to opening at the Hahn University Center Box Office and one hour before curtain at the Studio Theatre Box Office. Please note: no late seating for this production.
