Exploring Health Careers Forum

USD Pre-health students are invited to attend the "Exploring Health Careers Forum" event which will be held on Thursday, April 4 from 12:15 2 p.m. in the UC Forum C. Lunch will be provided.

 

The purpose of the event is to help students explore the different options in health careers by participating in quick, rotating round table info sessions led by health professionals. This year's line up will include a Physician, Dentist, Genetic Counselor, Psychologist, Podiatrist, Optometrist, Physician's Assistant, Nurse, Speech Language Pathologist, Chiropractor, Registered Dietician, Healthcare Informatics Professional, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Pharmacist, Epidemiologist, Global Health professional and a Doctor of Public Health.

This event is intended to provide a glimpse into many different health careers so that students can be better informed about health career options and parallel plans. This is the next best thing to "job shadowing" a particular career. Any interested student is welcome to attend! 

 

Registration will open in Spring 2019.
