Do you want to call out anti-LGBTQ sentiment you hear, but aren't always sure what to say? Do you have friends in the LGBTQ+ community and want to be apart of their support system? Are you not quite sure what LGBTQQIAA stands for, but would like to find out? Join us for the upcoming Safe Space Allies training to gain the knowledge and skills to be an ally to our Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ+) and questioning community members.

At the end of the workshop, participants receive a Safe Space Ally placard; by displaying this emblem in their working and/or living areas, members of the university community provide visible markers of validation, support, and respect for members of the  (LGBTQ+) communities. The sign serves as an indicator of people with whom LGBTQ+ and questioning people can speak openly and seek the support they need to succeed at the University of San Diego.
