Decoding the QDRO: How to Read and Understand Your Client’s QDRO

This course will cover:

  • What is a QDRO and what does its preparation entail?
  • Ensuring the MSA and QDRO speak the same language

Speaker: Corey F. Schechter, Esq.

Attorney Corey Schechter has practiced in the area of ERISA and employee benefits law since 2011. His practice focuses primarily on ERISA litigation matters, assisting employers in the design, drafting and implementation of various employee benefit programs, and preparing Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROs). He has extensive experience consulting with family law attorneys and their clients regarding benefit division issues. He has been selected as a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in the area of Employee Benefits Law and speaks regularly on employee benefits issues.
