The How and Why of Summary vs. Analysis
Are you unsure about the difference between summary and analysis?
Are you confident about when to summarize and when to analyze?
Are you interested in sharpening your analytical writing skills?
This hands-on workshop is for you.
This workshop outlines the differences between summary and analysis and it provides an opportunity for students to practice in-depth analytical writing. Students will learn tips for how to analyze a text and how to use source material to effectively support academic writing. The workshop is designed for students at all levels of writing skills and students are encouraged to bring writing assignments to the workshop session.
