Details
In Living Learning Communities (LLCs), students who share a common interest live and study together. Not only does participation in a LLC helps emphasize students' academic and social transition to USD, it also expands their intellectual curiosity beyond the classroom, and helps them establish an immediate sense of community with their faculty and fellow residents.
While in a LLC, students take courses together and live near one another, sharing a supercharged college experience where academics meld with exciting extracurricular activities and community engagement. Built around the themes of Advocate, Collaborate, Cultivate, Innovate, and Illuminate, each LLC is a way in which students can engage with Changemaking.
At the LLC Showcase, students will have the opportunity to present their year-end projects, combining their knowledge from their Fall and Spring LLC courses and fulfilling the First-Year Integration Core requirement.
