As Associate Director of Alliance San Diego, guest speaker Christopher Wilson's work centers on empowering communities of color and low-income communities through building bridges, creating collaborations, and identifying common issues. His lecture will address both his academic and his professional experiences.
Christopher received a BA in History and Ethnic Studies from the University of San Diego. He was the first graduate of the Ethnic Studies major. His leadership positions at USD included: Black Student Union president, leader of the United Front Multicultural Center, and head of the Ethnic Studies Student Movement.
This is a part of the Black History Month in Contemporary America Series.
