The 22nd Annual Real Estate Conference is the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate's (BMC) not-to-miss signature gathering of the "who’s who" in the real estate industry in San Diego. There is no other real estate conference in San Diego like it. The audience, of high-level real estate and financial services professionals, tops 600 annually.

The conference will open with our keynote speaker, Hamid Moghadam, chairman and CEO of Prologis. Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate's Policy Advisory Board member Barbara Cambon will interview Moghadam.

Our second featured speaker is Yehudi "Gaf" Gaffen, CEO of Gafcon Inc. In 2016, Gafcon was selected by the Unified Port of San Diego for the $1.2 billion redevelopment of Seaport Village. Gaffen will share the vision of this world-class project.

Our third featured speaker is Mitch Roschelle, partner and real estate advisory leader at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Roschelle will deliver PwC and Urban Land Institute's Emerging Trends in Real Estate® 2018 report. The report is one of the oldest and most highly regarded annual industry outlook for the real estate and land use industries.

Following Roschelle's presentation, we will offer two breakout sessions to select from for the last hour of the conference. The first session will feature Jennifer Hernandez, partner at Holland and Knight LLP. Hernandez will discuss "CEQA and the California Housing Crisis: Moving Past CEQA Reform Gridlock." The second breakout session speaker will be Norm Miller, Hahn Chair of Real Estate Finance at the University of San Diego's School of Business. This discussion is titled "Blurred Lines, Disruptions and the Future of Real Estate."
