The Church Moves Towards Nonviolence? Just Peace, Just War in Dialogue

This conference will engage leading Just Peace theorists and activists with leading military and Just War theorists in dialogue to discuss war, peace and nonviolence, and justice in the contemporary world.

Speakers Include:

Cardinal Peter Turkson, Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development 

Bishop Robert McElroy, Diocese of San Diego

Maries Dennis, Pax Christi International

John Dear

General Charles Dunlap

Representatives from the Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, and West Point

Although this conference is closed to the public, lectures will be held on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Kroc Institute of Peace and Justice Theatre that will be open to the public.
