Malin Burnham, founder of Burnham Real Estate Services, will share his thoughts on leadership and philanthropy at the University of San Diego School of Business.
 
In 1987, Burnham retired from his for-profit career and embarked into the world of charity. At the age of 88, he has served on 32 nonprofits organizations. His career has spanned 70 years of wining international-level competitions in sailboat racing; 37 years of building and managing companies engaged in real estate and banking; and 50 years of leadership in his nonprofit and philanthropic endeavors. At the University of San Diego, he co-founded the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate, funded a sciences research institute that became known as the Burnham Institute for Medical Research and founded the Center for Civic Engagement at The San Diego Foundation.
