Please join Copley Library and KPBS in welcoming author Warren St. John to campus on October 11, 2016. St. John's book, Outcasts United, was featured as the 2010 selection for One Book One San Diego.

Outcasts United tells the story of a soccer team of refugee boys from all over the world, the woman who coaches them, and the small southern town where they've all been relocated. St. John's account resonates with many of the themes we discuss on a daily basis at USD, including peace building, social justice, and human rights. 

This special evening will feature a presentation and book signing by the author.

Light refreshments will be served following the presentation.
