Learn about the Guatemala global study program, which provides theoretical and practical knowledge about the nature of the nonprofit sector in Guatemala, a developing country, and how the sector plays a role in civil society.

During this program, students will explore the dynamic role of human service agencies - both NGOs (internationally operated nonprofits) and Guatemala-based nonprofits - in a postwar society. Students will also be introduced to the challenges these nonprofits face serving multi-cultural populations within the country.
