Postcard from Ghana

Greetings from Ghana, West Africa!

Some low-fee private schools in Ghana are experimenting with technology such as e-readers. In this classroom in Ghana's capital Accra, each child has a mobile device. Over 100 books from Africa and around the world have been downloaded and students can take them home. Very exciting! Our SOLES Global Center is investigating if this results in improved student learning outcomes. What do you think of those beautiful, bright colors of their school uniforms!
