Details

The University of San Diego's College of Arts and Sciences, the Provost’s Office, and the Department of Art, Architecture + Art History with Rob Quigley Architects are proud to announce the construction of a new Architecture Pavilion on USD’s campus.

Scheduled for 2016, the Architecture Pavilion is a small but ambitious building situated on the Camino arts quad. The result of collaboration between students in the undergraduate Architecture Program and award-winning architect Rob Quigley, FAIA, the pavilion is conceived as a demonstration of sustainable design, and combines a pre-engineered structure with low-cost, high-impact solutions such as indoor-outdoor classrooms, natural cross-ventilation, gray water recycling, and low-energy lighting.

Please join us for a reception on October 7, 2015, 5:30-7 p.m. for a display of the design drawings and models, and to learn more about this unique project.
