The WorldLink program offers specialized high school internships during the summer at the Institute for Peace and Justice. The summer internship, from late June to mid-August, offers high school youth the opportunity to explore global topics in a more in-depth manner, taking a regional or topical approach on pressing issues. Summer interns will participate in weekly group discussions and research and create the WorldLink Reader, a classroom tool that provides youth worldwide important knowledge on the WorldLink Youth Town Meeting topics. To learn more, download the Summer Internship description (PDF) and application (PDF).
Application deadline is May 14.
Summer Internship dates are June 18 to August 13.
WorldLink ~ Connecting Youth to Global Affairs is a program of the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice at the University of San Diego's Kroc School of Peace Studies that provides opportunities for high school youth from San Diego and Baja Mexico to meet world leaders and experts. Students learn about challenges facing us locally and internationally, and engage in thoughtful discussions about solutions in a forum where their voices are heard and valued.
