Dr. Thomas Herrinton, associate professor of chemistry and Vice Provost of USD, will discuss the greenhouse effect, global warming, and climate change in terms of the underlying scientific principles behind these phenomena. The strengths and limitations of scientific knowledge in doing so will be described. Join in for a discussion and presentation that will provide a factual basis on which to decide for yourself the validity of these controversial topics.
