On February 6, IPJ Interim Director Dee Aker and Program Officer Chris Groth will share their experiences as Short-Term Observers with The Carter Center’s International Election Observation Mission for Nepal’s recent Constituent Assembly elections. Part of a team of 66 Carter Center observers from 31 countries that deployed to 31 districts across Nepal, Aker and Groth were based in different districts in southern Nepal. They will explain context-specific election preparation and observation, and provide their post-election perspectives on this post-conflict country.

This event is open to students at all levels, as well as the public. Registration is not required.
