Experience the unique sounds of this Indonesian musical instrument with USD’s Gamelan Ensemble, directed by Dr. Harnish. The gamelan is an ensemble of xylophones, drums, gongs, and strings and is central to Indonesian culture. We will dine on Indonesian food, attend a concert in Shiley Theatre, and meet the gamelan “up close and personal.”

This is our final event of the fall semester! Come out and support the gamelan. Extra credit may be available: check with your preceptor for more details.
