Details
Flutist Lisa Cella presents a solo recital of contemporary works for flute inspired by the modern technological era. Dr. Cella is a specialist in the performance of modern and experimental music and an Associate Professor of Music at the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a founder of San Diego's own soundON Festival of Modern Music. Her recital includes works by USD faculty composer Christopher Adler, by San Diego-based composers Adam Greene and Madelyn Byrne, and an interactive flute and computer work by ecosonics composer Matthew Burtner.
Tickets are on sale at the door only: $10, general admission; $8, seniors, USD faculty, staff and alumni; $5, students with ID (cash or check only). Seating is limited on a first-come, first-served basis. Please plan accordingly for the best concert experience. Music programs are subject to change.
