Changemaking begins from the inside out. In honor of the African proverb Sankofa, meaning “Go back and get it,” the Black Student Union (BSU) seeks to facilitate an interactive workshop to establish better connections between students of different backgrounds. One who knows themselves has the capacity to empathize and connect with others from all walks of life. This workshop will dismantle barriers, challenge preconceived notions of identity, and encourage connection within the USD community.
