Date and Time

Economist and USD Professor Stephen Conroy investigates this topic by first exploring the current state of the economy in terms of output, employment and inflation, with a special look at the national budget. He then applies the current state of the economy to "voter" models from political science to see whether President Obama has a chance to be reelected as president in November. Does the president's handling of the economy help or hurt his chances? Regardless of who wins the election, should the president reappoint Ben Bernanke as chairman of the Federal Reserve? To find out answers to these and other questions, come for a fun and lively discussion to discuss issues that are on everyone's mind this election season.
