Casa Cornelia Law Center and the Trans-Border Institute hosted a joint conference titled "Children at the Border: Continuing the Conversation," with presentations on:
- Current migration trends of unaccompanied children on the Mexican-American border
- Immigration relief available to unaccompanied children for whom a safe return to their homelands is not possible
- Recommendations for implementing provisions of the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act (TVPRA) affecting unaccompanied children detained at the border
