The last decade has brought tremendous development to the university campus. The foundations were set in 1949 with the establishment of the San Diego College for Women and later, the College for Men. This construction led to the formation of buildings set upon a mesa overlooking Mission Bay which would later become known as the University of San Diego. After the merger of the colleges, the growth of the student population lead to the planning for additional buildings. Continued advancement in university services and functions forced the need for a master plan and from this plan major expansion of the campus had taken place as it entered the 21st century. Come learn about what the current master plan holds as the university looks towards the future for Alcalá Park.
For those 55 and up.
