About the Program:
Successful leaders want the people they support and depend on to win. Key to this is your ability to create an environment of trust, and trust begins with mutual understanding. A valuable tool for achieving trust on the basis of understanding is your ability to communicate your “Leadership Point-of-View” (LPOV).
The LPOV is your personal “elevator pitch” – it describes your own journey, your values, your goals and your expectations. Armed with this message, leaders are able to quickly and efficiently establish a deep, trusting relationship with their teammates and increase their chances of winning.
The goal of this workshop is for you to craft your own LPOV and to be prepared and inspired to share it with the people and teams you lead. As a result of the four-hour session, you should be able to:
- Appreciate the power of sharing yourself and your beliefs about leadership — and where they come from
- Benefit from practicing and getting feedback from classmates and Margie Blanchard as you hone your presentation
- Be equipped to share your Leadership Point-of-View with others
- Be inspired by the presentations from others
