Dick Gregory is a brilliant comedian, iconic civil and human rights activist, well-received author of 15 books, recording artist with seven records, television and film personality, leading nutritional entrepreneur, veteran of over 100 fasts, and man totally committed to non-violent social change. Gregory has been featured on CNN, ABC and Comedy Central. His determination has made him a successful social change leader and his endeavors throughout the civil right era and beyond have literally made him a walking history book.

Gregory will use his social satire, humor, and incredible wit to discuss his life as a civil rights activist and legendary comedian. He will talk about his activism during the tumultuous 1960s and what he continues to do to help people all over the world. In the spirit of the African American oral tradition, Gregory speaks the truth about racism, sexism, and violence in America, and his message is important for all to hear.
