Join us for the fifth annual in-depth speaker series for educational leaders at the ELDA Spotlight on Education Speaker Series, sponsored by the Educational Leadership Development Academy (ELDA) in the University of San Diego’s School of Leadership and Education Sciences.
The fifth annual in-depth speaker series for educational leaders will focus on "Next Steps: Using Curriculum and Learning Technology in 21st Century Schools." Matthew T. Spathas' talk will discuss "Transforming Our Schools: Engaging, Empowering, Educating and Preparing All Students For the 21st Century."
Matthew T. Spathas is a partner with SENTRE Partners, a real estate investment company, and CEO of Bandwidth Now, which creates buildings of the future. Spathas challenges his audience to ask themselves the questions they need to prepare students to compete for new jobs in a flat world. As of to date, eight million Americans have lost jobs while over one billion people enter the global workforce, all the while competing for services, products and innovation. What skills do our students need to compete? What does a school of the future look like?
