Alfredo Corchado is the Mexico bureau chief for the Dallas Morning News. He will talk about his book, Midnight in Mexico: A Reporter's Journey Through a Country's Descent into Darkness, the story of his quest to report the truth of his country in the face of mortal danger.

Mr. Corchado was a Nieman Fellow in 2009.

This event is sponsored by USD's Justice in Mexico Project, the Department of Political Science and International Relations, and the Latin American Studies Program.
