AMERICAN REVOLUTIONARY: THE EVOLUTION OF GRACE LEE BOGGS AT THE SAN DIEGO ASIAN FILM FESTIVAL

Watch the award-winning film "American Revolutionary" at the wildly popular San Diego Asian Film Festival! What does it mean to be an American revolutionary today? Grace Lee Boggs is a 98-year-old Chinese American writer, activist and philosopher in Detroit whose vision of revolution may surprise you. In an age when seemingly insurmountable injustices and contradictions face us, Boggs inspires us with new thinking to sustain our struggle and engagement.

Ticket and transportation fee to Digiplex Mission Valley is $5. We will depart from the Maher Hall Seal at 5:45 p.m.

Please be sure to register.

*Please note that this event is only open to first year undergraduate students enrolled in the Social Justice theme*
