Two undergraduate USD students majoring in English, Faye Mankowske and Bernadette Smith, will present papers in the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Pacific Division conference's "History and Philosophy of Science" session:

  • Faye Mankowske will present "Tracing the Birth of New Science in the Literature of the 17th and 18th Centuries."
  • Bernadette E. Smith will present "Darwinian Evolution and Jack London: Dualistic Representations of Evolution and Social Darwinism in the Character of Buck."
