Details

Several upcoming events on the USD campus explore the intersection of literature and science. On June 12, several poets, including the Pulitzer-Prize winning poet Rae Armantrout (UCSD), Ilya Kaminsky (SDSU), and Bob Chianese (CSU Northridge) will be reading poems inspired by science. The reading will be held on the Garden of the Sea patio behind the Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice. Refreshments will be served. The event is affiliated with the AAAS-PD (American Association for the Advancement of Science Pacific Division) scientific conference being held on campus for the week, but the reading is free and open to the public -- no need to be a registered conference participant to attend.
