"The 'Magnificence of Cities' in Pero Tafur's Travels: A Fifteenth-Century Voyager from Spain to Asia Minor" by Benjamin Liu, PhD, University of California, Riverside

Professor Liu is a specialist in Medieval Iberian culture who studies the complex interactions among Christians, Muslims and Jews. His current research focuses on travel literature and cultural exchanges from the Mediterranean to Asia. His talk is aimed at a general audience.
