Archbishop Agostino Marchetto, J.C.D., will address the efforts of different faith communities to grapple with the challenges of contemporary immigration and assimilation. As the secretary of the Pontifical Council for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerants, Marchetto will offer a unique perspective on this timely issue. No RSVP needed.

This presentation is in advance of the international conference sponsored by the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies and the Trans-Border Institute on April 15-16, 2009 that will consider the connections between migration, religious experience and national identification. For more information, go to http://www.sandiego.edu/tbi/events/mrni.php.
