Fundraising

Before contacting a specific business/corporation, please email your list to development@sandiego.edu.  To view the Fundraising Guidelines, visit the Student Organizations Handbook, pg. 15.

1)  Fundraising ideas:

Student organizations are encouraged to use fundraising in order to generate the revenue necessary to put on a successful event.  Here are some easy and fun ideas that students can use in order to raise funds:

Car wash
T-shirt sales
Raffles
Auctions
Bake sales
Ticket sales
Gifts or donations

Before contacting corporations (Target, Subway, area stores and businesses) please contact University Relations.

2)  Associated Students Funding:

Registered student organizations may also be able to apply for funds through the Associated Students Budget Committee:

• Any registered club/organization can apply.  Budget committee meets every Tuesday (during the academic year).  Organziations in good standing may apply for funding through Torero Orgs.
