Fundraising
1) Fundraising ideas:
Student organizations are encouraged to use fundraising in order to generate the revenue necessary to put on a successful event. Here are some easy and fun ideas that students can use in order to raise funds:
Car wash
T-shirt sales
Raffles
Auctions
Bake sales
Ticket sales
Gifts or donations
Before contacting corporations (Traget, Subway, area stores and businesses) please contact University Relations.
2) Associated Students Funding:
Registered student organizations may also be able to apply for funds through the Associated Students. There are two main sources of funding:
ICCBC (Any registered club/organization can apply). This source of funding is available for any event/program that has the potential to benefit the entire campus. Requests for funding are proccessed twice a year.
Budget Committee (Any registered club/organization can apply). Budget committee meets weekly. Requests should be made on the Associated Students website.
Weekend Programming Grants (Any registered club/organization can apply). The Weekend Programming Committee reviews on a monthly basis. The committee sponsors up to $750 for events planned on the weekend.
