Giving to USD's Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering

Every gift from alumni, parents and friends to USD's Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering is an investment in a world-class engineering education. Your tax deductible gift helps the school to provide student scholarships, support senior design projects, attract and retain top-notch faculty and create innovative laboratory and learning spaces.

As part of Leading Change: The Campaign for USD, the Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering will build a Bioengineering Garage, a Sustainability Garage and a Cyber Security Studio. The campaign offers an opportunity to reimagine the curriculum so a thermodynamics course won’t just teach students how to use heat, but will inspire them to create cooking stoves or energy systems that change lives in developing countries. How will you Lead the Change and make a world of difference?

David Malicky Scholarship
To honor the memory of Dr. David Malicky, we are striving to create an endowed scholarship in his name. Any amount will help us get closer to the $50,000 goal and will help us honor Dr. Malicky's dedication to hands-on learning.

Rick Olson Endowed Scholarship
There are few USD engineering students who do not benefit from Dr. Rick Olson's guidance. An engineering alumnus recently pledged $50,000 to create an endowed scholarship in Dr. Olson's name. As the fund grows, we will be able to provide bigger and bigger scholarship amounts to deserving engineering students. Pay it forward!

Thank you for your support!
