USD Team with Three Women Engineering Students Pulls off a Sweep of the Day's Races

USD Toreros -- There was a feeling of déjà vu at the conclusion of this year's West Coast Conference rowing championship on Lake Natoma in Rancho Cordova, Calif. on Friday morning. The University of San Diego women's rowing team was in this position a year ago on these same waters: atop the leaderboard. Except this year the Toreros captured their second-consecutive WCC title with a clean sweep of the three championship races on the day and again topped Gonzaga on the water and in the point totals. USD tallied 36 overall points on the day, while Gonzaga had 30, Saint Mary's 24, Creighton 16, Loyola Marymount 14 and Santa Clara five. (Full Story)
