Engineers Explore Future at USD Career Fair
Tuesday, November 9, 2010
Bryce Abraham and Tiara Chapel were dressed to impress to search for their respective paths toward success at the University of San Diego Engineering Career Fair on Thursday afternoon.
Graduation for both students arrives in May — Abraham will earn a joint BS/BA degree in Mechanical Engineering while Chapel will complete her Industrial and Systems Engineering dual-degree in only four years (typically a nine-semester program) — but there’s no time like the present to see what’s available.
“This is very helpful,” said Abraham (pictured, right) of the fair, which featured companies with full-time and internship opportunities available. Participants included General Atomics, Aerotek, L&T Precision Corp., MITRE, Southern California Edison, Frito-Lay, Datron World Communications, L-3 Communications Telemetry – West and Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard/IMF.
