USD Engineering Hosts NJROTC Students

The University of San Diego Engineering program will host 160 cadets from the Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) on campus Monday for the start of a week-long program designed to enhance the high school-aged students’ science and technology skills.
The young cadets, who are from all over the United States, will participate in hands-on experiments while using math, science and engineering technology concepts, according to Rick Olson, USD associate professor of Industrial & Systems Engineering and the academic coordinator for this event.
