Since USD emphasizes engineering that combines a liberal arts education with hands on design, our students emerge from our programs as engineers of the first order, who are thoughtful, informed and engaged participants in the global community. The USD Engineering Programs are nine semester programs of study leading to both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree. We currently offer programs leading to the dual B.S./B.A. in Electrical Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
