Medical EnglishKeeping up with the new terminology in the medical field is important for career development and advancement.  This Certificate Program covers a wide variety of medical vocabulary related to:  diseases, symptoms, investigations/lab testing, treatment, examination, and prevention.  The program will also address language related to bodily parts and functions.

You will learn to:

  • Become familiar with western medical terminology
  • Learn about the parts and functions of the body
  • Increase your understanding of systems, diseases, and symptoms
  • Discover more about Infections and Psychiatric disorders

Who Should Attend:  Health care professionals who speak English as a Second Language, and who are pursuing or planning to pursue a degree in a field related to medicine. 

Pre-requisite:  This course is designed for upper-intermediate to advanced level English speakers.
