Missions Café is USD's first zero waste dining facility. We strives to support the USD community in a holistic way through sustainable practices, a healthy menu, and creative alternatives for our customer’s nutritional needs. Recipient of a Gold Loyal E. Horton Award presented by NACUFS for excellence in dining.
Stop by for our famous waffle bar for a hearty breakfast. Our yogurt and juice bar provides a great way to get energized for your day. Our fresh salads make the perfect lunch or enjoy a frozen yogurt for a late night treat. For gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options visit our Wellness Page.
We compost all of our food scraps and have recycling in place for our back of the house operation and our customers. We proudly support the USD Community Garden located behind Mission Crossroads. Missions Café was the first dining location on campus to offer a range of environmentally-friendly products. As in all campus eateries; to-go packaging and cutlery are sustainable products made from renewable resources such as corn and potato starch. Bags and napkins are made from 100% recycled materials.
