Q. What browser do I need for viewing the Dalai Lama web stream?

A. Video viewing requires Internet Explorer 7 or higher, Firefox, or Safari. The web stream will not work in Internet Explorer 6.

Q. Will the Dalai Lama web stream work on my mobile/portable device?

A. Yes, the web stream will play on the following devices: iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, and Android. Please note that the stream will not display on a BlackBerry device.

Q. Will I need Flash?

A. Yes, Flash will be needed for certain devices. If you are being prompted to download and install Flash, please visit the Adobe website. Some portable devices such as iPads and iPhones will not require Flash.

Q. How do I watch the video in full screen?

A. Move your mouse over the player and click the "Full" button to enter Full Screen mode.

Q. What kind of Internet connection do I need to view the stream?

A. We recommend viewing the stream from a wired connection. However the stream will play wirelessly including on mobile devices such as iPads and smartphones (excluding BlackBerry).

Q. When will the event begin?

A. The event begins at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18. However the USD home page and Dalai Lama event website will point to the USD event stream in advance so that site visitors can download Flash and upgrade their browsers if needed.

Q. Will there be a replay after the event?

A. Yes, there will be an online archive of the Dalai Lama's talk after the event ends. Please check back for information about when and where the replay will be available.
