Many events at USD are related to issues of peace and justice, and lend themselves to understanding Catholic Social Thought through the growing knowledge of social issues that impact our world.  Many of these events are found below in the calendar feed. By acknowledging how campus programs contribute to the education and practice of Catholic Social Thought, this feed allows our campus community to connect with the values that Catholic Social Teaching upholds for a better world.

The Council for the Advancement of Catholic Social Thought sponsors and highlights events that specifically address a semester long commitment to highlight one of the basic themes of Catholic Social Teaching, as identified by the U.S. Catholic Conference of Bishops. Themes are identified each semester to offer the campus an opportunity for intentional reflection and learning. The entire campus community is welcome to attend these events:
