Committees

Speakers/Special Events

This committee collaborates with the Associated Students and organization representatives to sponsor speakers and events. Suggestions for speakers/events can be generated from within the subcommittee and from campus or community groups/individuals.

SIC Conference

Each year, this subcommittee organizes a Spring Social Issues conference with panel discussions that include such topics as sexual assault, sweatshops, mass media, and voices of migrant workers.

Student Committee

This committee is comprised of the CASA leadership team who represent a variety of constituents and provide the crucial voice for social issues programming important to students.
