Teamwork

Microfinance is quickly becoming one of the most popular anti-poverty strategies in the world. In difficult economic times, many tend to open small microenterprises to help support their families. Help local San Diegan entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses, get real business experience, and work towards community development and economic recovery.

Business Plans

Most of our microfinance loan recipients request assistance in developing business plans. Some of the businesses are brand new while other businesses have been in existence for several years, but need help getting focusing in a specific direction.

Marketing

Almost every microfinance loan recipient uses their loan for marketing purposes. In this economy, marketing and increasing your client base is crucial. Our loan recipients need help creating a consistent business message, maximizing their advertising dollars, and creating a clear, strategic marketing plan for their target audience.

Marketing for the SDMP

Do you believe in what we're doing and want to help spread the word? We are looking for volunteers to help with our marketing efforts. Responsibilities include writing blogs, updating our website, updating our facebook page, and creating innovative marketing plans.
