This course is focused on the understanding of cultures that produces good decision-making under pressure. While it also helps to create tolerance on peace-keeping missions, it is also focused on the importance of knowing “thy enemy” in the sense that understanding the underlying culture of your counterpart can be instrumental to success and to safety. The course also discusses the cultural and religious-based differences of the specific culture or cultures of the regions where personnel will be deployed.
