 Since 2014, Andrew Hamilton has worked as a litigator, focusing on consumer protection law and administrative procedure before state and federal courts. In March 2018,  Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon appointed Mr. Hamilton to the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists.

While attending USD, Andrew interned for the Center for Public Interest Law where he reported on the Department of Managed Health Care and Cal-OSHA for the California Regulatory Law Reporter. He was also instrumental in developing proposed for regulations for hotel housekeeping musculoskeletal injury prevention as his Public Interest Law Clinic project, which were ultimately adopted in January 2018. For his work, CPIL selected Andrew to receive its Outstanding Public Interest Advocate award in 2014.
