Idea Lab 4: The Business Plan Pitching Workshop

Social Innovation Challenge applicants learn how to make a successful pitch with a strong business plan.
With Dr. Michael Lawless, professor of entrepreneurship at USD whose expertise is in Strategy, Innovation, and New Venture funding. He has been a visiting professor at UCLA, Dartmouth, Wake Forest University, and Warwick University, UK. Dr.Lawless has lectured at Oxford, IESE, and the University of Peking, among others. His MBA and PhD are from UCLA.


Idea Lab 3: Social Entrepreneurs and Innovation

Helped students increasing their knowledge on business and innovation models.  Students learned how to make profitability sustainable while at the same time embedding social, environmental causes at the core. Social entrepreneurs from the business, social enterprise and nonprofit sectors aided students in further developing ideas for the Social Innovation Challenge.
