San Diego Torero Alumni Takeover May 6: Participate in One of 17 Events

Saturday is a great day to get out of the house and experience all San Diego has to offer. The University of San Diego Alumni Association agrees and has created the Torero Takeover for 24,000 alumni residing in San Diego County to consider spending part of Saturday, May 6 at one or more of 17 fun and meaningful events taking place throughout the day.

How about a USD Founders Chapel Tour with beloved Sister Virginia Rodee '57, '74, RSCJ, or go on a Tecolote Canyon hike with USD President James Harris? Events will be held in Linda Vista, Liberty Station, Pacific Beach, Vista, North Park, Escondido, Coronado, Golden Hill, Scripps Ranch and more. The first event starts at 8 a.m. and the last one concludes at 6 p.m. Participate in social, educational and physical activities, including several connected to alumni-owned businesses and alumni-run organizations. Each event will have a USD alumni member leading the way so this is a great opportunity to meet other alumni.

Torero Takeover celebrates the USD community, supports alumni businesses and organizations and builds alumni participation in Leading Change: The Campaign for USD. You can Register now for $10, sign up for one or more events and you’ll receive a commemorative T-shirt to wear during the event(s). Here's the complete events list:
