Roger C. Pace is a Professor of Communication Studies at the University of San Diego. Dr. Pace joined the faculty at USD in the fall of 1987 after receiving his Ph.D. from The Pennsylvania State University in 1984 and teaching at Texas A&M University from 1984 to 1987. He teaches introduction to communication, public speaking, small group communication, communication theory, organizational communication, and interviewing. Dr. Pace is also a former Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at USD and Chair of the Faculty Senate. Dr. Pace’s research interests include group and organizational decision making and the effects of emerging technologies on communication patterns. His research has appeared in Communication Monographs, Southern Journal of Speech Communication, Human Communication, Small Group Communication, and Western Journal of Communication. Professor Pace is co-author, with Dr. Bethami Dobkin, of an introductory communication text entitled, Communication in a Changing World.
