Professor Gina Lew earned both her Bachelor's Degrees (Broadcast/Journalism and English) and her Master's Degree (Communications) from USC. Since her collegiate days, Professor Lew has spent the majority of her career in the news room, most notably as a top-rated local news anchor and an award winning journalist for KFMB (CBS Affiliate) and as Host/Producer of "Work in Progress" for KPBS, which focused on emerging artists in San Diego. She has also served as the Director of Public and Media Affairs for the City of San Diego and as the Director of CityTV 24, an informational show about the City of San Diego's programs, services, and the City's leaders. Returning to the Communication Studies Department at USD in Fall 2006, Professor Lew has previously taught upper division courses at both USD and SDSU.
